Sunday Afternoon Walk

I`ve been walking again today.
A three mile walk.
A brilliant blue sky
A gentle breeze
The sound of birds calling
A robin sitting on a nearby hedge,
Hedgerows glinting red with berries
A well trodden path
muddy in places,
grassy in others.
A wide expanse of marsh land
pools of water and winding creeks.
Quietness
Peace
Solitude
What more could one ask.
